Love conquered all and is always there during the trials of life! Justin and Cammy know this all too well! Their gorgeous wedding was set to be held in early June 2020, but COVID had other plans for them. With the ever changing laws and mandates here in North Carolina, this sweet couple decided to postpone until September in hope things would be better.
Little did Cammy & Justin know that the day before their original wedding date they would get a call that would make a postponed wedding look like nothing. Justin’s lymphoma was back and he would have to go through chemo and begin this fight all over again. In the midst of rescheduling a wedding and all the craziness that accompanies that, this couple was faced with something much bigger and harder than anyone would have expected.
When I heard about this my heart broke. Cammy & Justin had been looking forward to this special day for a long time, and now to have been thrown these difficult trials I know it had to have been so hard to bear. They didn’t let these circumstances stop them from having their wedding and showing to all those who attended that love truly conquers all!
As the wedding evening began, Justin and Cammy had a moment to spend together during their sweet first look. Justin told me the suit he is wearing has been passed around by all his friends and worn in their wedding, so what a way to retire the suit by Justin wearing it for his special day.
In support of Justin and the fight he is fighting, all his groomsmen had shaved their head for the wedding!
There were tears and laughter as the couple exchanged their hand written vows under the tall trees of Taylor Ranch in Fletcher, NC.
I was truly touched by the love this couple has for each other. I know weddings can be stressful, but Cammy & Justin truly showed what it means to be there for each other for better and for worse!
