When true love comes along, you know it will stand the test of time! Nathanael & Julia are one of those “true love” couples. I have known Nathanael since he was young and when he started telling me he was looking for a ring, I knew it wouldn’t be long because Julia had captured his heart! Nathanael proposed to Julia high atop a mountain in Colorado on an adventurous destination proposal journey.
When I heard about this grand proposal I only had one comment in mind…. Why did you not take me with you? Haha, with joking aside I am so very happy for these two! Julia messaged me the day after Nathanael proposed saying she was so excited to now talk to me about wedding and engagement photography! Nothing is more exciting than seeing the joy of a new bride to be!
Our original engagement session plans were pretty much wiped out with the covid19 outbreak, but Julia’s family had a beautiful farm nestled in the mountains of Candler, NC that was a perfect spot for their beautiful engagement session.
Most of my engagement sessions are filled with laughter and joy as I capture the love and bond of a couple in love. Nathanael and Julia’s session wasn’t short of laughter or love in any way. From watching out for cows and a bull whos filed we were traipsing through to kindly asking a neighbor if we could use their flowering trees for some gorgeous photos, their session was filled with lots of fun and memorable moments.
Now that their engagement photos are finished, it’s time to count down the days until the September wedding! Thank you, Nathanael and Julia, for allowing me to be a part of documenting your legacy of love. These photos will forever stand as a reminder to you, your family, and future generations of the love you share and hold so dear. I am honored and privileged to be by your side on this amazing journey that will lead to the beginning of your lives as man and wife. I love you both and am so thankful for the time we got to spend together!
