The tears were rolling down her face just like the rain outside the window. She held her dad and savored the moment. It was finally her special day, that day she had dreamt of. Wearing her mother’s pearl bracelet and having her grandfather’s dog tag pinned to the bottom of her dress, Kristen was ready to marry the man of her dreams. Before the ceremony, Kristen & Maxx met with some family and their pastor to pray for their life together. This moment was what makes my job incredible. Seeing the love and support this couple has is incredibly beautiful! Even though the rain might have soaked in the ground and clouds darkened the sky, this couple’s love for each other was lighting up Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hendersonville, NC.
Dear Kristen and Maxx,
I want to personally say a huge thank you for you guys trusting me and allowing me to be by your side on one of the most special days in a couple’s life. I never take it lightly and wanted you both to know I appreciated your willingness to brave the rainy weather to stand outdoors under an umbrella and get some final shots of the day. You guys were rockstars and deserved all the attention. I wish you both many many many years of happiness and love as you grow closer to each other and closer to God. I can’t wait to see what is in store for you both on the journey ahead.
