He grabbed her hand as he had done for years, but this time it was to walk his sweet baby girl down the aisle to meet her prince charming. Many fathers dream of this day, but most say time flew by too fast and wish they could turn back the clock to the tea parties and nights of bedtime stories. The sound of the rain hitting the tin roof of the barn was muffling the sounds of sniffles and tears as father and daughter walked in hand in hand. It was time, at last, to walk his baby girl down the aisle to marry the love of her life. What started as a rainy dreary day, suddenly was brightened up by a smile that would light up any room. With her father by her side, Alaina captured the attention of everyone in the room, especially the attention of her husband to be, Taylor. At this moment, Taylor’s whole world stood still! His beautiful bride would soon take his hand to pledge her love and commit to a lifetime of love, no matter what! The rain slowly faded off to reveal cloudy skies and cheers from all the guests, as the two became one!
Taylor and Alaina, I want to start off by saying “Thank You” for putting your trust in me and following me through all the instructions and crazy weather. You both were so calm and acted as if you had planned on rain the whole time. All our prayers for the rain to subside were answered when we were able to enjoy the evening taking outdoor photos and spending time with those you love. The love you two share is so precious and I wish you both many many more years of happiness together! I began the day with wedding clients, but I ended it with friends! It is always humbling getting to document those precious moments on your special day. I never want to take this privilege lightly. I look forward to seeing what lies in store for you both and I can’t wait to see all the fun photos from the honeymoon to Savanah!
